Night, Night

Alex is always super sweet right before bedtime and first thing in the morning. Maybe it has something to do with how cute babies look in their little sleepers... Anyway, I just had to try to capture some of that sweetness the other night. I think we caught a little...

Alex is Growing Up!

Ray and Alex came to have lunch with me at clinic yesterday and we decided to put Alex on the scale - he is up to 12 pounds, 3 ounces! He is really hitting a lot of developmental milestones - he's reaching for toys and bringing both hands together to hold his favorite ball. He sits up with very little support, tries to hold his own bottle, stands up just holding our hands, and even makes some one syllable sounds, like "ma" and "ba." And...he slept through the night for the first time about a week ago! Unfortunately, it was just a fluke. ;) Here's a few new pictures of our handsome guy!

Sleepy Baby

Good news! Alex slept through the night for the first time this weekend! Of course, he may not do it again for months, but it was a great night, that's for sure! I think he must be going through a growth spurt, because he's been sleeping A LOT lately. Case in point...

Long Time, No Post

To make up for my long posting hiatus (due to computer probs), I thought I'd post lots of pictures of Alex from the past couple weeks. He's getting so big and learning so much! His newest accomplishments are laughing out loud and grabbing hold of toys. Of course, he continues to roll over (which no one believes happened for the first time at 17 days of age - come on, there were only 5 pounds to push over!) and give lots and lots of smiles! Last night, he slept in his own room for the first time. I woke up four times to check on him. He woke up once.
