Alex is Two Months!

I turned two months old on the ninth. Mom and dad helped me celebrate (?) by taking me to the doctor's office. It's the same place mom works, so I'll have to get used to going there. First, the nurse put me on the scale. I am up to 9 pounds, 3 ounces, almost double my birth weight! Dr. Haynes came in to see me and told mom and dad that I look great. I'm growing well and doing all the things I should be doing (and then some... like rolling over!). When she was all finished up, the nurse came back in to the room and stuck a needle in my leg! I screamed so hard I ran out of air. Mom said, "Alex, you have to breathe," so I took a deep breath and screamed again! Mom picked me up for a cuddle and dad gave me a kiss on the forehead, which made everything better. I was all smiles by the time we left the office!

  1. Hi Alex!!!! Look at how handsome you are! Check out the blonde hair! I'm so glad your mommy told me about your website. Now I can keep up with you. Someday soon I'll have to introduce you to Gavin who is only two days older than you. You guys will be good friends! Take care and keep growing and doing good!

  2. Jenny & Ray,
Wow - what a beautiful baby boy! Jenny, you're doing such a great job with the blog. I particularly love the videos. I talked with your mom last night - it's always a long conversation. She's a very proud grandmother, as she should be!

Just wanted to say Hi and that I love checking these updates!

Hugs and kisses to Alex, you and Ray
